Canada's longest living literary journal, The Fiddlehead is published four times a year at the University of New Brunswick, with the generous assistance of the University of New Brunswick, The Canada Council for the Arts, and the Province of New Brunswick.

Newfoundland and Labrador Studies is a refereed, interdisciplinary academic journal devoted to the history and culture (broadly defined) of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is a publication of Memorial University's Faculty of Arts. Special editions are published from time to time on specific themes. Recent examples include "Confederation" (17:2) and "The New Early Modern Newfoundland" (17:2 and 19:1). Documents, reviews and review articles are included in most issues.

QWERTY is a literary and visual arts magazine produced through UNB's English Department.

Through use of Canada's Access to Information legislation Gregory S. Kealey and Reg Whitaker acquired copies of the extant Bulletins, which are now held by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. Eight volumes of Bulletins have been published, covering the years 1919 to 1945.

Studies in Canadian Literature is a bi-annual journal devoted to the scholarly and critical study of Canadian literature in English and French.
